About me
Billy Zanski has been immersed in music and creative expression since 1995. In 2001 he traveled to Guinea, West Africa, to study percussion and the culture in depth. That journey was a life-changing experience, with both challenges, deep learning, and personal growth.
Billy's main teacher, Bolokada Conde, connected him to Asheville, NC, where he opened Skinny Beats Sound Shop in 2004. Since then, he has been hosting sound meditations, teaching, and helping others find special instruments and how to work with them for healing.
